I offer a wide variety of treatments, because not all patient's needs are the same. For this reason, every patient's treatment is customized. Below is a brief description of the treatments that are offered.
Acupuncture- shallow insertion of thin sterilized needles into specific sites in the body used to promote healing. Learn More > I am very sensitive to those who feel uncomfortable about needles. Acupressure, tui na, and cupping can be done in its place, offering very good results.
Acupressure- manual stimulation of specific sites (acupuncture without needles). This is often incorporated with a form of bodywork called tui na.
Chinese herbology- a powerful system that uses natural medicinals to treat numerous common complaints. Learn More >
Cupping- improvement of circulation by means of creating a vacuum. Poor circulation often expresses itself as discomfort. This by far is one of my favorite forms of treatment because its results can be experienced almost immediately. I have seen some amazing results through cupping.
Therapeutic Massage- in TCM, this is called Tui Na. Great for sore, tired muscles, and painful joints. It is healing, and Oh So Relaxing!
Nutritional Consultation- includes review of eating habits, dietary suggestions, and recommendations. Your diet is the foundation of your health, and it is often the root cause of disease. I offer what I consider to be the finest in whole food supplements, Standard Process products. I use them, and I love them!
Breathwork- instruction in the relaxing and healing techniques of breathing properly.
Postural Awareness- instruction in the proper standing, sitting, and reclining for optimal health.
Simple Stretches- customized to meet your specific needs.
NADA- NADA is a specialty acupuncture treatment used primarily for PTSD and detox. It is an excellent treatment that can help reduce stress and cravings. I periodically provide this treatment for those going through an Intensive Outpatient Program at a clinic in Elm Grove called the West Grove Clinic.
